Hear Ye, Hear Ye … Coracle Auction!

An Opportunity to bid for this unique “Dunbar Coracle”, complete with oar. Made with tender loving care from beginning to end in Dunbar at Tide & Time: Dunbar’s Festival of the Sea.

Worth £300, we will start the auction at £100!

The money raised will go to the Dunbar Community Woodland Group who supplied the ash from a tree in their wood and the Dunbar Craft Centre & Community Shed who helped process it.

With thanks also to Tyninghame Sawmill, who cut the 72 ash laths. Called upon at the last minute, on a public holiday, but went swiftly to work for our community event. What a crew!

The final build was completed by The Coracle Society.

Many thanks to all involved in making this beautifully crafted vessel.

It’s now your chance to own it! Endless hours of fun to be had. Auction closes Mon 13th June at 10pm.

Don’t miss out folks … Bid now!
